Survey: Do you put your phone in a case?

When it comes to protecting your phones today, there are many different types of people.  For some, a case is a fashion statement, for others an accessory.  Some people like to be risky and go “commando” with no case at all.  Still others like to take the whole protection idea to the extreme (see picture above).

I can understand those that don’t want cases at all.  The phone manufacturers put so much research and design into making current phones the most appealing and thinnest possible…why cover that up and add bulk when that’s the opposite of what the manufacturers intended?

Some people have jobs that require them to protect their phones in really rugged cases…such as those that Otterbox makes.  I can completely understand this also.  When you are working in construction or other manual labor jobs you need cases such as this to protect your smartphone.

31yUqclOakL._SY300_I consider myself somewhere in the middle.  I want a case on my phone to protect it from scratches or in case I ever drop it one day.  I personally like to change phones pretty often and it’s easier to sell my used phones when I’ve kept them in a case.  My favorite case for years has been the Seidio Surface cases.  These cases add minimal bulk but also offer great protection.

So what about you?  What type of person are you?  Take the poll below and let us know!

  2. I always use a sleeve/pouch case with a credit card holder. It protects the phone but I use it outside the pouch – the way the manufacturer intended.

The case I use was made by http://www.nuevue.com (my company) and these cases CLEAN the screen with a single slide to remove grease fingerprints which contribute to eye strain and eliminate 99.9% of nasty microbes in 2 hours – great when overnight charging and wake up to a germ free phone every morning!!!
