In an interview with “A New Domain” Steve Wozniak, the beloved co-founder of Apple stated how much he loved the interface of his Windows Phone 7.5 Lumia 900. For the interview he had a total of 4 phones with him, 2 iPhones (4S), a Droid Razr, and the Nokia Lumia 900. When asked which of the phones he prefers he said, “iPhone is my favorite phone. I did give my opinion that the Windows 7P phone had superior visual appearance and operation cues that were also more attractive. In my opinion, it sets the mark for user interface. I would recommend it over my Android phones…”.
He did state one large detriment to the Windows Phone 7 models, the lack of apps compared to Android and iPhone. But it’s very interesting to hear the opinion of someone so influential in this industry. It begs the question…why aren’t Windows Phones more popular? Hopefully Microsoft can get their marketing act together and change that soon.
